Where’s your call to action?

Don’t make people scroll to get to your call to action.

Where is your call to action? Do you have to scroll to get to your call to action? If it isn’t at the top of the page – stop right now reader and get a button there so people don’t have to scroll.

The most important real estate on your website and in your emails is at the top of the page. In a banner or before people have to scroll to see it.

Add a call to action at the top right. You will see our big blue call to action at the top right “Contact Us.” A button – maybe 2. Put a call to action in the top right or within the banner if you are using one.  I alway recommend a nice clear button in a banner. People click on that darn banner! Use one of the calls to actions I mentioned in this blog

  • The call to action should be at the top before they scroll.
  • The call to action should be clear! What do you want them to do? Contact? Call? Download a pdf? Join a webinar? Tell them.
  • The call to action should be short.
